GRAPHIC PAPERBACK NOVELS From the Daily Express newspaper serials that appeared in the 1950's, to the Showcase and Classics Illustrated comics of the 1960's, to the Marvel comics of the 1980's and the recent Titan Books and Dynamite publications, James Bond's adventures have existed in graphic form for almost as long as on the literary page. However there are few paperback sized graphic novels that exist featuring Bond. Here's four of them: the Marvel title from 1981 on the left is based on the film of the same name. The two in the centre are U.K. and U.S. publications based on the book "Silverfin" by Charlie Higson. The final on the right is an abridged copy of "Silverfin" from Penguin Readers in the U.K. aimed at readers learning English.
