PROMOTIONAL COPIES
A variety of promotional editions have appeared over the years. Some were included as tie-ins with James Bond VHS or DVD releases, while others were giveaways to accompany magazines, newspapers and even alcohol. Certain editions were given away free of charge, whereas others were available on book shop shelves for purchase. Additional special editions were issued to coincide with new publications of novels such as "No Deals, Mr. Bond" by John Gardner and "Trigger Mortis" and "Forever And A Day" by Anthony Horowitz.

| THE TIMES EDITIONS These six editions were given away for free as a promotion by The Times in the UK during the centenary of Ian Fleming's birth in 2008 and the release of "Devil May Care" by Sebastian Faulks. The first five titles contain the same text as the regular editions. "Octopussy" however, which normally contains four short stories, only includes the two short stories "Octopussy" and "007 In New York"; the last story's inclusion being relatively rare at the time. | |
